Matthiasson 2025 Rose California

This hails from the Windmill Vineyard in Yolo County; in a bit of a rarity, this is grown specifically for rose, and picked earlier to capture a fresh and acid forward character. The nose opens with light citrus that is joined by notes of peach and wet stones. On the palate this is bright and precise with a bit of peach and some grapefruit and a core of excellent acidity.
