Gautheron Chablis Vieilles Vignes 2024

The Gautheron family has been farming the land in Chablis for generations, but it wasn't until 1977 when the sixth generation began to make and bottle wines on his own. This bottling comes from their 55+ year old vines on the right bank of the Serein atop Kimméridgien soils. The nose opens with lemon, chalky minerality and the lightest suggestion of hazelnut. On the palate this is light and chiseled with direct chalk and lemon notes. Chicken, seafood and cheese would be a great pairing match for this wine. MK D&M Tasting Notes May 2026
