Christian Drouin XO Pays d'Auge Calvados

According to the Domaine, this XO has been aged for over eight years in formerly used barrels, focused on ex-Cognac and and ex-Bordeaux supplemented with ex-sherry, ex-Sauternes, and ex-Banyuls. The nose opens with aromas of golden apple, tarte tatin, nutmeg, golden raisin, apple blossoms, rancio and a light nutty note. On the palate the presence of the oak shows itself with light apple pie, mixed spices, and a delicate licorice note to finish. D&M Tasting Notes July 2026
