Walter Scott Pinot Noir Cuvee Ruth Eola-Amity Hills 2023

This is a blend that different from their single vineyard bottlings shows their skill as blenders. Barrels are selected from truly great sites with Volcanic soils in the Eola-Amity Hills to make up this wine, with sites like Justice, Koosah, Sojeau, Temperance Hill, Witness Tree, Bracken and X Novo being featured in years past. The nose opens with deep black cherry, cola, raspberry, black tea, and mixed spices. On the palate this is just shy of moderate in weight with cherries, cola, raspberry and oak spice balanced on the palate.
