Dailuaine 14 Year Creetown Distillers Single Malt Scotch

This is a single barrel that began its life in 2011 in an ex-bourbon barrel in 2011, and then was reracked into a barrel that had previously held Calvados in 2022. From there it rested for just shy of 2.5 years before being bottled in early 2025. It is cask strength at 54.3% ABV. 

The nose opens with a lifted and pretty personality with light orchard fruits, white flowers, apples, and just there mixed barrel notes. On the palate this has an up front presence with flavors of rolled oats, toasted almonds, and white and pink peppercorns. MK Fall, 2025
