Bedrock Wine Co. Ode to Lulu Rose 2025

For a number of years this comes from very old Mourvèdre vineyards located in Oakley and Antioch. These 120+ year old vineyards are atop sandy delta soils, and this is harvested early for specifically for rose. The nose opens with a aroma set of strawberry, watermelon, grapefruit, red flowers, spice and delicate mint notes. On the palate this has a good sense of texture while still maintaining a zippy acidity and a flavor set that echoes the nose. This will work wonderfully both by itself as well as with lighter foods from salads to mixed mezze. D&M Staff Tasting Notes Feb 2025
