OVERVIEW: “The 2024 California Syrah is composed almost entirely of fruit from Bien Nacido and Bedrock Vineyards. While the vineyard-designate Bien Nacido wine on this release leans into the power of Z-block, the more delicate, lacy fruit from X-block proved ideal for blending with the darker, more savory Bedrock Vineyard Syrah. The Bedrock lot was co-fermented with 15% Viognier to add perfume and finesse to the ferrous, dark-fruited Noir selection from the ranch.”

TASTING: “The result is a beautifully expressive California Syrah—weightier than the 2023 vintage, and more in line with 2021 and 2022. Due to a decrease in vineyard availability, this is one of our smallest California Syrah releases in nearly a decade—so grab it while you can.”
