Delord Napoleon | Situated in the Bas Armagnac region of France, Maison Delord was founded in 1893 by Prosper Delord. He was a travelling distiller, carrying a still with him from city to city, before he purchased his own estate in the village of Lannepax. This estate has been passed down from generation to generation and is now run by Prosper's great grandsons, Jerome and Sylvain. The mild autumn temperatures of the Bas Armagnac region, in addition to the estate's highly acidic and mineral soil is perfect for growing grapes. Once the grapes are harvested, they are pressed and fermented at low temperatures which preserves much of their robust flavor.
