Cask #12507, or the “Tomodachi Cask,” was aged for nine years in a Koshu wine cask—a wine made with a high-acid white grape variety primarily grown in the Koshu valley of Japan’s Yamanashi Prefecture. Tomodachimeans “friend” and serves as the perfect moniker for a bottle labeled with classic artwork from illustrator E.H. Shepard and A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh.
