The nose opens with aromas of leather, maple, forest floor, sultana raisins, nougat, pecans, clove and blacksmith oiled metal. The palate has a tremendous texture with flavors of grilled fruits (plums and grapes), seasoned wood, toffee, clove, toasted macadamia, and leather. D&M Tasting Notes. Distilled: 2010 Bottled: 2022. This is a single barrel. It was distilled in 2010 as cask number 2775, and aged on Orkney. It was bottled in 2022 as one of 303 bottles from this barrel. It was selected by SF’s Pacific Cocktail Haven (one of the best bars in the United States) as a featured ingredient in their The Don cocktail, created by Thi Nguyen. The Don is a blend of this Scotch alongside denizen vatted rum, pommeau, fig-pandan, pecan, and bitters. It is unique as the only Scotch Single Barrel of this singular bar.
